Development blog for TORCS project.

This week we began scripting our promotional video for our AI Racer. We also spent time creating an extensive critical checklist for our final submission. With a completed, and maximally trained model, all we needed to do was ensure all of the non functional requirements are met. These include the install script, the team video, and our completed IBM SkillsBuild certificates. The gear selection issue we encountered last week has since been fixed, and the model now uses all of the car’s gears. This model is now being trained and will be the final submission for the project.
As one of our requirements, we must record a 3 minute promotional video, covering the context of our project, how we tackled it and the details o. The plan for the team video is to record it in a question-answer format, with each team member answering a question. Inbetween this, we will place B-roll clips of the car racing around the track, of the most important features; fastest straights, turns, and the corkscrew chicane.
Next week is the deadline week. We must submit our project with the final model of the car, the lap video, and the team video. We have agreed to meet on monday to record our team video, and will work throughout the week to ensure the complete project is complete and ready to submit.
